Who we are
This website is run by Imagine Digital Studios Ltd, with its registered office at 82A James Carter Road, Mildenhall, Suffolk IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal information described below. You can contact us about privacy at [email protected].
What we collect
When you use our contact form or email us, we collect the details you give us: your name, email address and message, and optionally your company and phone number. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address to send it to you, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. We don't use advertising cookies. We measure visits in two ways: with Cloudflare Web Analytics and our own Mavnio measurement, neither of which uses cookies or identifies you; and, only if you click Accept on our cookie banner, with Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to tell us how visitors find and use the site. If you decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Google Analytics is not loaded and sets no cookies.
Cookies
Google Analytics cookies are set only with your consent, last up to two years, and are used for statistics only. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" in the footer of every page; declining removes the Google Analytics cookies. Google Analytics is provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, and the data it collects may be processed outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.
How we use it and why
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver and manage our services. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. For the newsletter, our lawful basis is your consent.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We use trusted service providers to run this website and our email: Cloudflare (hosting, security and analytics), Google (Google Analytics, with your consent), Resend (delivering contact form messages) and Google Workspace (email) and our newsletter provider (sending the newsletter). They process data only on our instructions. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK, in which case appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum are in place.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to two years unless you become a client, in which case we keep records for as long as needed for the contract and our legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, and South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act where it applies, you have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or in South Africa to the Information Regulator.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
